RULES AND REGULATIONS. Nominations for Champion Raco and all Handicaps.including Jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on or before TUESDAY, 11th DECEMBER, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to forward Postal Notes and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Event, and full entry money for Champion Race, to bo paid on Noininatiou, accompanied by a statement of Public Performances for tho last two years (matches included) with dates and Localities of such Performances ; tho remainder of Entrance fee on Acceptance, -which can be made on the grouud. Other events post entries. Colors must bo named on Nomination. Tho Committee reserve the right to run any race undor 300 yards in heats. The Bicycle Races will be ruu under the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists' Union. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Rule 25, which reads : — "Every Competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is, jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this Rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports." The Wrestling Event will be conducted under the recognised Rules. Any Competitor found guilty of Bending- in false Performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity aud the correctness of his description of his Performances. The Committee may disqualify any Competitor before or aftei any Event who shall refuse to make the required Declaration, and he Bhali not be eutitled to claim any prize.
