Pohangina Notes.
The Hall Committee decided at a meet, ing held last Saturday, that any profits that niaj accrue over and above working expenses, after the Hall is complete, and all appliances obtained, should be handed to the Jpalmerston Hospital. A cricket club was formed here on Saturday. Over 20 gentleman were enrolled as. members. Mr J G.Browne was ap. pointed Captain, and Mr Welsh, seoretary and treasurer. Messrs J. G. Browne, G. G. Adsett and 8 Roberts were elected a match committee The subscription was fixed at 3s. Members are requested to roll up next Satiu'daj to put the ground iv order. — Standard.
