Two Mysterious Deaths.

(MB PBK3S ASSOCIATION). Auckland, July 31. Inspector Hickson states that nothing has yet been decided on as to further proceedings re the death of the boy, Eric McCullougb, who died through tobacco poisoning, but the matter will not be allowed to rest where it is. Steps will be decided in a day or two. Dcnbdin, July 31. At the adjourned inquest touching the death of Annie MeMeiken, an old woman 90 years-of-age, the medical evidence tended to show that she died of apoplexy, accompanied by epileptic fits. The marks on the body would be accounted for by the fall and convulsive movements. The jury returned a verdict to that effect and expressed the opinion that no reliance could be placed on the evidence of Warrington, who had alleged he had heard the son illusing her.
