[Per Press Association.] ; Hon<j £ong, July 27. The capture of the King of Corea by the Japanese is confirmed. The transport which the Japanese sank on Tuesday was the Kawshung, belonging to Matheson and Co., and chartered by the Chinese to convey troops to Corea. It is reported tha all on board were drowned. London, July 27. Lord Ki&iberley informed the House of Lords that neither the Chinese nor the Japanese Legation was able to confirm the report that war had been declared.
