V.R.C. WINTER MEETING. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION). Melboubne, Julj 15. For the V.R.C. Winter Meeting the weather cleared towards noon, but the going was very heavy. The principal event, the Grand National Steeplechase resulted as follows : — Diamio 1, Cerberus 2, Reckless 3. All the acceptors started. Diamio won as he liked by ten lengths. 3sutiny was fifth. Time, 7min Jsec.
