FUNERAL OF THE DECEASED
The funeral of the late Herbert Edmonds took place yesterday afternoon, the re lnains being interred in Karori cemeterj, Wellington. The coffin was borna from the premises of Messrs Eades and Flyger, undertakers, Cuba street, to the hearse by a number of the old school-fellows of deceased ; and many of the staff and pnpils of the Mount' Cook Boys' School followed the body to its last resting place The Rev Mr Pritt, of St. Peter's, conducted the service at the grave side, and several floral tributes were cent, some being from former pupilß of the deceased.
