THE MODERATOR CALLED ON TO EXPLAIN. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Sydney, This Day. Notice of motion lias beeu gn r ev in the Sydney Presbytery calling on the Rev. Mr Mc.lnnes, Moderator of the Presbyterian (ieneral Assscmbly, to explain tho position taken up in regard to the verbal inspiration of the scriptures as sot forth in his address to the General Assembly. Mr Mclnnes has also given notice of a motipu, calling on t*vo city clergymen to explain statements made in their sermons confuting tho moderator's address. Motions will come up for decision next week.
