Rangiwahia Notes.
■+ [FROM A CORRESPONDENT. J I suppose it is the healthy atmosphere, combined with the natural energy of the people, that is making this place go ahead so fast. We have now a bakery and confectionary in full swing under the direction and control of the proprietors, Messrs W. Franklin-Browne Bros., whose Napier reputation, as being good tradesmen and good men, has preceded them. It is needless to say they have been henrtly welcomed here, and the hand of friendship extended to them. I hear Mr Dwan, of Wellington, has sold one of his sections here, to Mr Goodwin, of Femberton. The price was a good one. It is the intention of Mr Goodwin to put up a public hall. Oil Monday evening a well attended meeting was held at the private residence of Messrs Franklin-Browne Bros., for the purpose of taking steps to get up a tea and social gathering on March 17th to augment the Wesleyan circuit fund.
