Lamb— First quality, 4 8-8 d Scottish provincial buyers of colonial butter are selling large quantities in London, being unable to place the artiole locally Bad weather greatly impeded the delivery of the Tongariro's butter. At the last wool sales the Continental buyers took 60 per cent of tbe quantity sold while American buyers secured only 500 bales. The total amount catalogued was 169,400 bales, of wbich 154,000 bales were sold. About 22,000 bales were held oyer. ____*_■_-«
