The Legislative Council has thrown out the Bill to legalise the cotalisator by 29 to 6. Adelaide, This Day. The Legislative Assembly has carried a motion affirming the establishment of the free interchange of colonial produce and manufactures. Sydney. October 26. The Postmaster-General has concluded the negotiations regarding the subsidy for the San FraDCisco Mail Service, and agrees, subject to the approval of Parliament, to pay £4000 yearly.
