Rev. 14, 13 ; During the 9 service special mention was made of the H late Mrs Thomas Henson ; whose re--1 mains during the past week had been borne to their last resting place. Mr . Cannell said 'We take the Bible and there t is not a precept or doctrine that can be 1 deemed useless, here are words pointing 3 out to us the duty of life, cautioning us 3 against the evils of life. That which is j said from Heaven is faithful and true ; t and if the testimony of Heaven is cona trary to our former op'nions, we niust ; ■ giye way. Heaven never speaks ■ but ; with authority ; death apart from the . Bible is an impenetrable secret. The 3 plain duty of man is to listen withrej vereht: attention. We know somei thing about the experience of a Christian's 3 living, but what is his experience dying? . better a, Christian's death than thousands / of gold and silver. Dui'iag the 14 years 3 our deceased sister, has lived in this disJ trict I believe she has carried the whue flower of a blameless life, we had expected she would have come in and out amongst us for many years, but God will'd it otherwise. Heaven is richer, but earth is poorer, she has a precious memory, let us follow in her , footsteps, as she followed Christ, and we shall meet again, the * .morning of reunion comes, and we shall r meet to part ho more.'
