The body of a newly>born infant was found in a garden in Nairn-street. Medical examination proves that the child was born alive within the previous 24 hours. The detectives are investigating the case. The Evening Post has received an annoymous letter, in pencil, , id which the writer 803-8 he was the murder of Hawkins, and that Chemi&isinnocent. He gives as his reason for the murder that he wa9 out shooting, whon Rawkings wanted to turn him - off tha land, and kicked him. The letter is believed to bd a stupid boax.
