|Buws, March 26. .J Large entries of sheep came forward at , both Bulls and Awahuri, and fair entries * of cattle. Sheep fully maintained their prices ; in fact shorn lambs have increased in price, and are still in demand. Cattle, « though very dull of sale still, yet showed t a slight upward tendency at Bulls, and c we were able to sell a good few pens. 1 At Awahuri the only demand was for fat 1 cows, which sold at advanced prices in old rates. We quote :— x Cattle.— Bulls— 3-yr ateers, £3 10s; j 2£ to 3-yr steers, £2 15s to £2 17s 6d ; \ 1 2-yr heifers, 30s. Awahufi— Fat cows, , £3 7s 6d to £3 11s. j ' Sheep.— Bulls— Wethers, 7s to 7s 7£d; j 2-tooth wethers, 6s 9d ; 2-tooth ewes, 6s k 3d to 7s 2d; 4 and 6-tooth ewes, 6s 6d ; I Lincoln ewes, 6s 6d to 6s 9d ; breeding ewes, 4s to 5s 6d ; small woolly lambs, , ss ; shorn lambs, 3s 3d to 4s 7d ; Lincoln " rams, Ito 2| guineas. Awahuri— 2 and 1 k 4-tooth wethers, 7s 3d to 7s 7d ; 2to full ] mouth Lincoln ewes, 7s ; fat ewes, 5s lOd to 6s 2d ; breeding ewes, 3s 3d to 6s 6d; woolly lambs, 5s Id; shorn lambs, 4s; , Lincoln rama, 1 to 2 guineas. <
