Colonial breads! uffs and tallow are without quotable change. The wool sales continue firm. The catalogue at to-day's auction comprised 12,300 bales. Melbourne, April 19. The manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand reports as follows on the local market : — Wheat, 3s lid to 4s, slightly improved tendency ; barley, 4s 9d to 5s 6d, prices barely maintained ; oats (feed sorts). 2s 9d to 2s lOd, much steadier; oats (milling sorts), 2s lOd to 2s lid, steady; New Zealand oats, undor bond, 2s to 2s Id, quiet.
