Wellington, This Day. Tbe following addition il bonu-es t-i colonial industries ar offered by" the .Government : — £500 ior the. production by machinery, permanently established in New Zealand, ol the first 10,000 gallons of 'linseed oil grown in the "colony ; £100 for' the first production of 50 tons of oil cake fror linseed grown in tbe colony ; £500 "lor the first 25 tons, of butter or 50 tons of cheese (produced inonefictory which shall be exported. -from.. .New Zealand and sold nt such a price in a foreign market as shaljshow the article to be of fair quality ; £300 for ■ the first 50 tonsol starch mahul'actuied in the colony, which shalfbe shipped to the English, market., and Apr which '"a satisfactory certificate shall be given that the starch is blYgood '.quiility •; £500 for the production ot the first 50 tons' of printing, paper made by machinery pe'rmanentlr established and working in the colony, the bonus to be. paid on the fir-t bona fide «ale of paper. The conditions are, that tbe intention to claim t(ie bonus must be made before the 31st of December, 1883, and the claim muA be made behre the 30th of Juue, 1884.
