[By Scuiaimage-3 The members of the Palmerston and Feddiiii; club* met on Saturday Jast on i iie i-V. id .»•; 0\ al. when sides were choseo anda-cian.ii nialcii induced 'o. The play was anything but -00.1. nor did the players seem io enjoy . AiumAc* nt ail cm account of ihe wet and slippery conduion of the ground. I feel eertaiu that it would, in the present unsettled state of the weather, be >luer maduess to play the Wanganui maieu ou onr ground while a good dry ground 13 available at Palmerston. There can be no fun or enjoyment in playing on turf which ia more or less covered with water, and I sincerely hope that oor representatives will see tbe advisability of making choice of the Palmerston ground. I am sorry to twv that tbe Palmerston visitor* were allowed to depart oa Saturday without a team having been picked. Nodonbt this will be done without delay by the previous match committee, or I am ranch afraid that those who are looking forward to the approaching contest will be sad)y disappointed. I andei stand that the Wanganui team haTe arranged to plajr in Palmerston on Saturday next.
