JUDGES AND CIRCUITS

The following circuits have been arranged for the next quarterly sessions of the Supreme Court, the opening dates of sessions being given in parentheses:—

Wellington (October 14).—Criminal, Mr. Justice Ostler; civil, the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers).

Palmerston North (October 14).—Mr Justice Johnston.

Hamilton (October 15).—Mr. Justice Blair.

Auckland (October 15).—Mr. Justice Smith from October 15 to 27 and Mr. Justice Johnston from October 29, to be relieved towards the end of November by Mr. Justice Ostler.

Wanganui (October 29). —Mr. Justice Smith.

New Plymouth (November 4). —Mr Justice Blair.

Napier (November 4) and Gisborne (November 12).—The Chief Justice.

Blenheim (November 12) and Nelson (November 19),—T0 be arranged later.
