RELIEF FUND CONCERT.

t .«. : — On Sunday week, October 13, an entertainment of outstanding merit will be given in the Town Hall in aid of the Mayor's Metropolitan Relief Fund. The Trentham Band, under LieutenantBandmaster C. Pike, will provide a programme of popular music and' the Rongotai Boys' College Choir, of 500 voices, will be heard in popular songs. A feature of the entertainment will be community singing, led by Mr. Joe Shriner. The Trentham Band is now up to championship staridard, and its programme should prove exceptionally interesting -to lovers of brass band music. The Rongotai College Choir, trained by Mr. J. T. McCaw. can always be relied upon to thrill an audience. Mr. Maxwell Fernie will be at the grand organ, and Mr. Bob Henry at the piano. The charge for admission will be one shilling. Seats can be reserved at Chas. Begg's, Manners Street, or at the State Theatre.
