BAR TO D.F.C.

RUGBY, October 4,
A bar to the D.F.C. won by Pilot Officer W. L. McKnight, is among the new R.A.F. awards. Pilot Officer McKnight, who has destroyed six enemy aircraft in the last thirteen weeks, was born at Alberta, Canada, in 1918, and commissioned in the R.A.F. in 1939. He was awarded the D.F.C. last June.
