APPRENTICES' WAGES
• A report in "The- Post" on Friday summarising the Arbitration Court's decision as to weekly wages of apprentices did. not specify, as it should have done, that the announcement applies only to carpenters', and joiners' apprentices in the districts affected —Northern, Wellington, Nelson, and Canterbury. It has thus been mistakenly assumed' in some 'quarters that the rates apply to all apprentices.
