A CHORAL REVIVAL.
'" William Powell once more is MyrnaLoy's Prince Charming—her irresponsible, devil-may-care husband —in , Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's "After the , Thin Man." This is their newest hit and the action-packed sequel to their ■ former triumph, "The Thin Man." . Well, "After the Thin Man" is said , to pick up in high right at the start , and never let down for a minute dur-, ing its entire length. Once again i Myrna and Bill make the ideal mar- ■ ried couple—people romantically in i love with each other with ..that com- ] plete understanding and - tolerance | which all husbands and wives wish ] they possessed, Asta has'become a < dramatic actor. The little wire-haired i terrier who brazenly "stole" scenes from William Powell and Myrna Loy in "The Thin Man," is again playing himself in the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer sequel. Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett wrote a real role into the Dashiel Hammett mystery for Asta. He has been learning his lines for the past several months under the direction of his owner, Henry East. Featured in the cast are James Stewart, Elissa Landi. Joseph Calleia, Jessie Halph, and Alan Marshall.
