LATE MR. SEDDON

Today is the thirty-first anniversary of the death of the Rt. Hon. R. J. Soddon, the great Liberal leader, and this morning a wreath was laid on the statue in the grounds of Parliament Buildings by a number of friends. The late Mr. Scddon was al' member of the House of Representatives from 1879 to the date of his 'death, June 10, 1906. In 1893 he succeeded Mf. John Ballance as Prime Minister, and died in office, his term being' a/record for the Dominion.'
