THE KREUGER COLLAPSE
Hopes of eventually reaching agree-, ment on the many difficult problems created by the Kreuger. group collapse were held out by the Swedish liquidators of Kreuger and Toll, when they returned/ home from New York. Professor Martin Fehr; trustee in bankruptcy of Kreuger and Toll, said that they had gone to New York to prepare the way for agreements with the trustee in bankruptcy of the International Match Corporation and with the Swedish Match. They had found the I basis for a friendly agreement with the trustees of International Match, but final settlement, depended on the sanction of the American and Swedish courts." 'Professor Fehr added that negotiations with. Swedish .Match led to a preliminary result, but negotiations will continue in Stockholm.
