SPEEDWAY RACING
TO-NIGHT'S MEETING.
There is to be more than usual variety in the meeting 'to be held at. the Kilbirnie Stadium Speedway this evening, and, apart from the performances of the riders in competition with one another, particular interest will be taken in the new method of starting. In one of the main events the riders are to be started at the on» time from different marks, according to their handicaps, and Kilmister and Key are being asked to.concede big starts to some of, the other competitors. Another interesting feature of the meeting will be'a series of two-lap 4ashes> in which :the? riders from overseas—Key, Bishop, ':■: Frogley, and Duckett—will be' matched' with i;he leading local riders. The contest between Key and Kilmister is expected; to be very thrilling. Further variety. will be provided in the staging of a special novelty event, and this is expected to be thoroughly entertaining. Other events make up an attractive programme., .
