It was therefore decided to retain the gold .cup- oa the understanding that the. winning owner have the option of. taking cash in lieu of the cup if he so' desired,' the cash equivalent to be £105 less' 11% per cent., i.e., 6% per cent, to provide intereston the club's outlay of- £105; for: twelve months, and the- 5 per cent. State tax."
