LEVIN—HEEBEET, The marriage was solemnised this afternoon 'at-St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral of Margaret AgnosJ second daughter of Dr. and Mrs. W. E. Herbert,. Welling- j ton, and Charles "Earie William Levin, only son of the late Major and Mrs. : W. F. G. Levin, Wellington. 'The marriage unites two old' and well-known Wellington families. The Bey. Canon '.P. James' performed' the ceremony, and i Mr..Robert Parker played tho wedding , music. Tho church',wrs artistically decorated in varying shades of pink. Tho bride, who was escorted by her' father, wore a beautifuj frock of palest blush pink satin gauged to the' figure. The bodice had long tight-fitting sleeves, and was close fitting almost to the knees, 'from where the skirt hung to the ground. At the back, -the' skirt widened to (form & 'four 'yards train, which was lined with georgette of tho same shade. Her veil'of blush pink net bordered with Aleneon lace covered the train, and waa caught with a tiny circlet of tinted orange blossoms and arum lilies. She carried a sheaf of pink " Maltnaiso'n 3" carnations. The bridesmaids were Misses Betty Herbert (chief), Cara Johnston, Mac Gilmer, Mary Knox Gilmer,, and'Ailsa Nelson. Their frocks were'copies of a Chanel model'in a shade deeper than the bride's. They were made completely of petalled georgette, the petalled bodices beng close fitting 'and tho skirts long and bouffant. They were finished with deep shoulder capes, and all wore pink- mittens. Their widebrimmed lace crinoline hats were of the same shade, and they, carried bouquets of tiny .pink .polyanthus roses. All wore strings of pale • pink-coral (tho gifts of the bridegroom). Little Judy MacCrae was a miniature of the older bridesmaids, and also wore a* string of pink coral. Arthur Duncan was a small page in a suit of the same coloured satin. Mr. Herbert Richardson was best man, and Messrs. Warwick Blundoll, Peter Johnston, Brian Eoid, and W. Levin groomsmen. "The ushers at the church wore Dr. Izavd, Messrs. li. Brandon,. I). Aftor tho ceremony a reception was held at 186 T The Terrace, where a marquee had been erected on the lawn at, the. bottom of the garden-. Dr. and Mrs. Herbert received over-300 guests -at the top of the steps. The bridal party stood at the foot of the steps near the marquee.- -The, garden was a blaze of colour, 'the hydrangeas being particularly, beautiful. The reception" rooms were decorated with'huge bowls of mixed flower*, '-and in 1' the marquee ■ all. -the. decorations were in shades of pink.. Mrs. .Herbert wore a Chanel model frock* of beige georgette and l&eS with a long flared skirt. The coat was finished, with a large collar of soft fur, and she wore a wide-brim-med crinoline hat. Her bouquet was to tone. Mrs. S. H. Gilmer wore.mushroom pink lace with a coatee, and a picture hat. She carried a bouquet of roses and birclu Mrs. Knox Gilmor was in black lace and a black hat. Mrs. Arthur Duncan ,wore a smart , black laco frock and a black hat, and she carried a bouquet of deep rod roses. Mrs. Tan MacCrao woro floral, chiffon * and a black hat. When the bride and bridegroom left later by oar, tho ' bride woro a frock and coat of' cornflower blue georgette. Both were tuckod from the waist to the hem, and tho coat had a grey fur dollar. , She wore a small, blue velvet bnret hit.' Those present wore: Mr. and Mrs.'1 E.
