The Bishop of Polynesia and Mrs. Kcmptuorne are tho guests of Mr. smd Mrs. J. G. Collins, Christuhurch, for the Synofl. Mrs. E. Bunny and Misses S. and A. Bunny, Lower Ilutr, returnedlas't cvoiiing^from Napier. The Eev. J. M'Caw and, Mrs. M'Caw have returned to Lower Hutt from Inglewood. Mrs. Alfred Baker, Kaiapoi, is visiting AVelHngton. Mrs. Robertson, Wanganui, arrived last evening to stay with Mr. and Mrs. George Shirtcliffe, Tinakori road. Sir Edward and Lady Gibbs havo returned to Lower Hutt after a holiday spent at Paekakariki. Mrs. Wood, Waipawa, is tho guest of Mrs. K. O. Chesney, Lower Hutt. Mrs. J. Stuart Kelly, Christehurch, is a visitor to Wellington. Miss Jean Wobster, Heretaunga, who was the guest of Miss B.etty Cotterill, Christehurch, is now visiting Waipara, North Canterbury. Mrs. E. J. Mo ore,.
