The resignation of Mr. W. H. Tripe from the position of general'manager of thej Gear Meat Preserving and Freezing Company o£ N.Z., Ltd., has been announced, and took elfcct from Saturday lust-.. '■ ' •
Mr. -Tripe is the son of • the late Dr. W. B. Tripe, and is well known in Wellington. Some time ago he decided to retire on the termination of forty years' service with the comparty. He joined the company as junior clerk, and in 1901 was appointed secretary and accountant. When Mr. W. H.
