Alexander, First Lord of the Admiralty, stated to the House of Commons that the Government intended to take into immediate consideration the whole position regarding the Singapore Naval Base, and that it must be done in consultation with the Dominions.
USE FOR AIRCRAFT
LONDON, 30th April. The "Daily Telegraph's" diplomatic correspondent says the Government is considering Singapore from the viewpoint of a depot for airships and seaplanes in a scheme of inter-Imperial communications. , '
