Early next year tho British Bed Cross Society is opening a clinic in London for the Special treatment in rheumatic diseases. It will be able to deal with 12,000 cases a year, and will be the first of a network for similar clinics which the society is to establish in industrial centres throughout the country. Sineo working people cannot get to a spa, the idea is to bring a spa to their hojnes. Nearly one-sixth of the industrial invalidity of the country is due to rheumatism in its various forms, and the Health Ministry is co-operating with the Bed Cross Society in the counteracting of this malady.
