HAMILTON, This Day. Holding that the club had no right to supply alcoholic drink to those who paid for admission at a football social the Magistrate, Mr. Wilson, to-day imposed a fine of £2 each on the president and secretary of the Gordonton Football Club. They pleaded guilty to sailing liquor without a licence, the supplying of liquor as a part of the entertainment being legally construed as selling.
