An attempt to commit suicide by cutting his throat with a razor was made by Herbert Ernest Clout, aged 45, a labourer, at his home in Kiwi street, Lower Hutt, yesterday afternoon. Clout, who is a widower, was admitted to the Public Hospital. His condition is not serious.
