NAVY LEAGUE CELEBRATION
CHILDREN'S DEMONSTRATION TO-MORBOW.
The children's demonstration in honour of Trafalgar Day will take place in the big Town Hall to-morrow evening at 7.30 o'clock. The whole of the accommodation has already been booked for the school members and their parents. The following school branches will be present: —Wellington College, Wellington Girls' College, Marsden Diocesan School, Brooklyn, Newtown, Eastern Hutt, Eastbourne, Worser Bay, Northland, Mount Cook, Terrace, Seatoun, and Island Bay. Framed copies of Wyllie 's famous picture of Trafalgar will be presented to Seatoun, Mirainar South, and Terrace schools, The film "Zeobrugge" will be screened. It gives a very clear representa- | tion of one of the most heroic episodes in the history of the British Navy, and is bound to stimulate the interest of the young people in the first line of defence in our great Empire. Music for the film will be played by the orchestral band from H.M.S. Dunedin, under Bandmaster Fitch. Lieutenant Burt will deliver a short address with lantern slides on the last British Arctic expedition. Siv Alexander Roberts, president of the league, will preside, and among those who have signified their intenI tion of being present are the Mayor (Mr. C. J. Bi Norwood) and Mrs. Norwood, his Honour the Chief Justice WMr. C. P. Skerrett) and Miss Skerrett, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Firth, Commodore Swabey (H.M.S. Dunedin), Captain Ritchie- (H.M.S. Diomede), and detachments of officers and men from both ships.
