A WHIRLWIND CAMPAIGN

(United Press Association.—Copyright.) LONDON, 20th October. The Miners' Council of War sat at Nottingham planning a whirlwind campaign whereby it is believed, according to Mr. 'A. J. Cook, that the position can be regained throughout tho Midlands by the •week-end. The police are most active, and the movements and actions pf the executive are noted and reports sent to the Home Secretary and the owners. Publicity experts also are working in the area with the result that there is a flood of leaflets and oratory on both sides. The split in the Nottinghamshire miners' organisation has been healed up.,
