WINTER SHOW

THE WELLINGTON PROJECT.

There was a, well-attended meeting* last evening to discuss the proposed Winter Show in Wellington. Mr. F. Goldberg presided. The meeting was under the auspices of the Wellirfgton Carnival' and Advertising Association, and several members of, the Wairarapa A. and 1". Society were present. The meeting was ' advised that four sheds of the Wellington Harbour Board would be available, the total floor space aggregating 100,000 feet. The Wairarapa representatives spoke ! in favour of the project, and offered to ■ give it every support, moral in the j meantime, and practical at a later stage. j They held that by holding the show in ■ , the city success would be assured, more j than it could be if the show, were held i in, the Wairarapa, which was interdependent with Wellington.
