WEATHER FORECAST.
At 9 a.m. to-day the following forecast was Issued for the subsequent 24 hours:— Winds—Northerly to westerly winds, Increasing strong to gale southward ot New Plymouth and Castlepoint. Barometer—Fall. Seas—Generally moderate, but increasing on the west coast southward of. Cape Egmont and southward of Castlepoint.. Tides—Good. Warning signals for westerly gales are exhibited at Castlepoint, Cape Campbell, Stephen Island, Farewell Spit, Cape Foulwind, and Nugget Point. Weather—Cloudy and unsettled weather generally, witli rain in many parts, and heavy rain with rivers rising shortly in the West Coast and southernmost districts of the South Island. B. V. PEMBBRTON.
