DUNSTAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL.

The usual monthly meeting of the Committee of Management of the above Institution was held on Monday evening last. Present—Messrs J. Hickson (Chairman), A. Joss, J. Crawford, and Rev. Mr Lothian. The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. Inward and outward correspondenos were read. Mr A. Joss was elected member of the Visiting Committee vice Mr L. D. Maogenrge, retiring. The Surgeon’s report was read and received, showing three admissions during the month. The Treasurer being absent, the consi leration of accounts and the Treasurer’s statement was held over. The applications tor the post of Tiesi lent Surgeon in the place of Dr Lewis, resigne i, was opened, but as there was only a hj ire quorum present the final consileiing them was deferred till Saturday,‘the 13th inat., until when the meeting was ordered to stand adjourned. Adjourned accordingly.
