LARRAKINISM AT ALEXANDRA.

Pin The Colorado Beetles performed 1 here again last evening to af ur house, hut, -4S.as on the previous occasion, the entertainmarred by a gang of larrakiun, who persisted in applauding in season and ont of season, and hooting, stamping, whistling, etc, to the nt'er disgust of the orderly portion of the audience. That the larrakins of Alexandra are not to he behind those of other towns, hot to he rather in advance, is borne out by the fact that not content with annoying peaceable persons they have begun to desperate places of worship, a most offensive piece of writing having been done on the Catholic Chanel, a ladder having been used in order to effect tthe purpose. Lust Sunday week, during the time rhe Sacred Concert was being per formed in the Presbyterian Church, a hand of roughs started a pack of dogs baiking under the cbuicb. walls to annoy the congregation, and then began to ring the school hell to can*e an alarm of fire. These are th-kind of pranks indn'ged in by a lot of hoys attending school and othois recently left. If this kind of conduct and such like he the outcome of the free education system, its strong advocates sod supporters have good cause to be proud of their success. — I am. etc . Disgusted.
