VINCENT COUNTY COUNCIL.
ThS following is the order paper of the Vincent County Council for its meeting on Wednesday next, the 24th inst Cr M'Carthy to move—That tenders be called for forming about 20 chains of the Makaroa track between Camp Creek and the Neck.
Cr Pitches to move-That the Engineer be instructed to extend the main storm channel at Ophir, about five chains, at a cost not to exceed L 35,
Cr Pitches to move—That the prayer of the petitioners from Blacks presented at the last meeting be granted, to have the road through Blacks Flat (by Leask'a farm) put in repair at a cost not to exceed LSO.
Cr M ‘Carthy to move—That the sum of 120 be voted towards repairing the road leading frem the Makaroa road to Messrs ■Calwell and Nees’ sawmills.
Cr Sheppard to move—That a sum not exceeding L 7 ha expended in repairing crossing at creek between Messrs Barry and Spethman’s farms in block 111,, Lauder S. District. CrStronach to move—That a sum not exceeding LIOO be expended on repairing, the road on the east side of the Olntha River from Cromwell to Quartz-reef Point. Cr Fraser to move--That a sum not exceeding LIO be expended on the bridle track from the bridge over the Manuherika River to Little Valley. Cr Fraser to move—That this Council proceed to take snch steps as it may deem most advisable to procure for the town of Clyde an efficient supply of pure water for domestic and other pnrpsses.
