CAMBRIANS.
(From onr Correspondent). An unforinna+e fatal accident occurred here last Wednesday, whereby Mr James Callaghan, of St. Bathans, lost his life. It appears that deceased, in company irith Mr P. Flannery, w*s proceeding to Ida valley, and when passing Cambrians his horse fell, throwing him to the ground with considerable force, whereby he received a severe fracture of the skull. From the time the accident occurred the unfortunate man never spoke or regained his senses, and died on the following day. Dra Hyde and Whitton wore telegraphed for, but it was impossible to do anything for the sufferer. The accident was witnessed by Mr J. Beattie and some men in bis employment, who promptly had the sufferer conveyed to Lis friends at St. Bathans. The funeral took place on Saturday, and was largely attended, deceased being generally re» epeoted. July 27th, 1885.
