The second an mi a 1 meeting of the above Society look place on New Yen’s Day in the 11 cereal ion Deserve, and was a great success. There was a large attendance'of the public, and the weather being everything that could ho desired, a very enjoyable day was spent. Every credit is djo to the stewards for the energy displayed in cany in.' out the programme, and there is every prospect of the meetings of the Society becoming more popular every year. Mr U. Tohill had the boo:h, and appeared to do a very satisfactory trade. The day’s amusement wound up by a dramatic performance in the Town' Hall, which was largely attended, and passe 1 off very successfully. The foll iwiug are the results of the var ons events :
