MURDER OF FOUR SERVANT GIRLS.

The Vienna police have arrested Hugh Schenk, sou of a Silesian Judge, who is accused of murdering four servant girls. He is said to have lived comfortably of late years upon (the savings of servants whom he enticed away from Vienna, promising to marry them, and whom it is alleged he murdered in out-of-the way places. Last August a cook was missed, but not until her savings at the bank had been called for. She was known to have left Vienna with a young man on a pleasure trio. Last month two girls informed the police that their sister and aunt, both having savings exceeding 1000 florins, had left Viema with mue Schenk, an engineer, who had promised to marry her sister, Josephine Tiraal, but that neither of the women had been heard of since their departure in May. It was found that their books had teen presented at the savings bank by an official of the Western Hallway named Schenk, who was known to have often called himself the servant of Hugh Schenk, who was really his brother. The latter was traced to Linz, but had left his lodgings, which were searched, and in which more property belonging to the women who had gone away with him was found, tin Wednesday night he was traced to Vienna to the house of a friend, and arrested in bed. He showed excessive terror, and had to be helped down stairs. His brother was also arrested. The circumstances of the disappearance of the two women and that of who was missed in August, as also that ofanorher servant missed in 1879, are identical; so that it is supposed that all four murders may be attributed to Schenk. He is said to have tried the same plan with several other girls who entrusted part 'of their savings to him. It is alleged ' that he has been two years in prison for swindling a servant of her savings. i He, has been married four years. H;s „ wife is ignorant of his crimes.
