Church Guild's Pleasant Afternoon Party
. The Paraparaumu Beadh t>ranch Of St. Paul's Anglican Church Guild held a pleasant-' afternoon party at the home of the Misses, Cobb, Gold Road, recently when there was a good attendance. A well stocked bring-and-buy isales table was kept busy. ' This was 'stocked with a pleasing array of •saleable goods, the proceeds augmenting the funds by approxfmately £10. A competition caused much amusemeht and Miss R. Clarkson was the lucky prize winner. The Ghristmas cake was won by Mrs. M. Platt. Afternoon tea was served and the final afternoon party of the ' year was brought to a close. s
