Woman Keen To Give Back Blood Received
That she would be along as soon as she feit able was the re- ■ sponse of a local woman yesterday when approached to give i blood :to help sWell the 'blood bank I of the. Palmerston North Hospital. She added that she hgid- just recently been on. the receiving end. No one can tell when they will be "on the receiving end," but if such an occasion arose they would surely feel happier in the knowledge that they had made a contribution to this great community effort. Blood saves lives— maybe it will be your own, your c'hild's or a member of your family. ■ The blood bank at the hospital must be kept full. It prevents delay. Delay may mean death. Levin's quote of donors for this appeal total 60; Although the resp.onse to date has been good that number has not yet been reached.
