Studying Development Of Rongotai Airport
{ WELLIXGTOX, May 6. Negotiations have -been: resumed between the Government and the Wellington City Council regarding the development oi Rongotai aerodrome, said the Mayor (Mr. Will Appleton) tonight, The Commissioner of Works (Mr. E. K. McKillop) accompanied by Mr. F. M. H. Hanson, who has been deputed to coordinate the various interests involved, waited on the Mayor and chairman of the Airport Committee and assured them that the committees previously set up in connection with the undertaking would again be set going. Mr. Appleton said he had. been assured that the original intention to develop Rongotai as announced by the Council had not been altered.
