Mickey Rooney is starred in 'M.-G.-M. 's : exciting new drama "Kil!er McCoy," which screens at the Civic Theatre on MoiTday and Tuesday. Also starring in the thriilpacked production are Brian Donlevy and Ann Blyth, James Dunn, Tom Tully and Same Levene are featured. While chief praise goes to Rooney's electrifying portrayal of the title part; the roles of a sports racketeer, Jim Caighn, his daughter, Sheila, apd Tommy McCoy's no-good father, Brian, are of tremendous interest and vitality. Brian Donlevy, who recentiy scored as the prosecutor in "The Kiss of Death," goes the opposite extreme in his portrayal of the gentleman gamblef who uses the "Killer" for his own ends.
