Anxiety About Prison Sentences
AUCKLAND, Dec. 12. With the object of making prison sentences more of a deterrent to crime by insisting on full terms being eompleted, a request that the question of life sentences and the punishnient of persons convieted of assault on women, be taken up, will be made by the Auckland district -Returned Services' AsBociation to 'Dominiiiil' '"headquarters Of the Association. This was decided unanimously by an Auckland district conference held at Papakura on Saturday.
