XFW PLYMOT'TH, Dec. 12. The death of Leonard Herbert t'lif ford, a well lcnown jockev, who was in .jured in a fall in the Stratford Handi eap on the second day of the Taranaki and Egmont-Wanganui - Ilunt Clubs' combined meeting at Xew Plymouth on August 2S, oecurred at his home at Kawera on Saturday. He was 30 vears of age. Clill'ord, who is survived by his wife and one child, was born in Australia and served his apprenticeship at , Auckland. 1
