WELLINGTON, Nov. 15. Thieves carried off a heavy safe containtng £100 in money and cheques, and also ledgers and papers, from the Master Battery Company, at Miramar, on Saturday night. The safe was recovered at Moa Point on Sunday and had been opened by removing the hinges.
