MRS. DUNCAN GUY

Thq sudden passing of Mrs. Duncan Guy, of Koputaroa, which occurred* at the Palmerston North Hospital on Tuesday after an illness extending over several months, will be regretted by a wide circle of friends in the Horowhenua and Manawatu districts, and sympathy is extended to her husband and family of five young children in their bereavement. Formerly Miss Peggy Nathan, eldest "daughter of Mrs. E. and the late Mr. F. J. Nathan, Mrs. Guy was brought up in Palmerston North and except for school years at Woodford House, Hawke's Bay, spent her life there and at Koputaroa. Her home, her family and the women's institute .were her main interests, while during the war years she was a member of the Women's War Service Auxiliary. Her kindly help and thoughtfulness for those in need was,.. well known. ■
